A proposal for an investing product that integrates with customer’s existing financial accounts. An initial prototype was made to test the sign up funnel. Findings showed a need for a clearer product description and entry point. A second prototype was made to test landing and servicing pages. Further iterations included defining a value proposition and feature sets.
The first prototype focused on the sign-up experience. The UX featured a personalized approach with pre-populated data for easy sign-up. The prototype was tested with eight users from a target customer group. Multiple unpacking sessions took place to synthesize the findings and determine next steps.
The second prototype focused on initial content strategy and servicing pages, housed in a responsive web experience versus a native app. Due to the shift to a web based platform, the prototype was tested with a different audience than the first. Findings led our team to iterate on a clearer value proposition and definition of the product features.
